*#* The Reveal *#*

I am so excited to show you the new rug I am dragging out the laptop vs stitching on my funky colored dove in Pray for Peace. I also said I would share a peak in the cupboard. So lets take a look see in there FIRST. hehehehe. Gonna make you wait until the end of the post to see the rug. Run to the bottom if you have too, it's okay. :-)

Top three shelves

 Bottom four shelves

If I do say so myself I love the red gingham shelf liner; $5 WALMART.
Gotta love a bargain. It really added some lightness to the inside, better to see the pretties.
***********************

Okay I am a mess with this bird. I was not feeling the red on the white Laguna; but the DMC 503 sub for the Seafoam does not even come close to the blue grey on the pattern; as seen above my progress. Mine is looking a bit green but going to forge ahead.

Over one on 25ct Laguna

As the snow is falling outside (up to 4 inches so far)
the snow is almost done at the Govenor's Palace, almost.

*<<<<<#*#*#*#*#*#*#>>>>>*

NOW

for the moment you and I have been waiting for

********

Here is Chewie on the rug

Libby the Hound,
I wanted to make sure she made it in the photo shoot.

TA DAH!!

It is a rough wool loop, I love the way it feels.
And I have to say, I loved the picture of this rug on the website, but it is even more beautiful in person.

I just couldn't wait until Friday. :-)

Keep on stitching.

Wow!!! I love that rug! It looks so gorgeous in your sewing room too. The colors all look wonderful together! I'm in love with your sewing room. lol! Nice arrangement in your cupboard too! Great deal on the liner paper, and pretty as well. Sorry you're not happy with the color of the bird so far. It looks nice to me. Hope the snow treats you well. We got 3 or 4 inches as well. I'm wondering if it's all icy outside now.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Okay that's a truly beautiful rug. It looks amazing. I so love the colors in it, reminds me a bit here and there of the colors in Blackbird Designs Fabrics and their stitching threads too. Your walls look great. What color did you decide on? Is it a soft blue green? And very nice curtains. You did real good. Love your sweet cupboard. I bet you spend a lot of time now stitching in there:) Your bird is looking pretty from the photo you posted. Does it match your rug? lol I'm teasing:)
love Annette

Oh your Basset is a cutie! I have a Walker Coon hound. Your rug is absolutely fabulous and I'm glad it makes you so happy. Congrats on being so close to finishing your CHS block too - that's a big one.
