Coming along

It has been a whirl wind since I landed back in Maine.

I had a great three day S-n-B weekend with my GF two weekends ago. Got some serious stitching done; I can't wait to show you what I've been working on.
I can't believe how much I got stitched!

From The Deep - Plum Street Sampler

Last weekend I was with my GF again, headed to Caribou to the Caribou Craft Fair. I got a bit of background filled in Saturday morning before we headed out. Oh what fun it was with her, her mother and family friend. After a day full of craft, antique and thrift shopping we came home to have Chef Bailey make partridge stir fry.

It was delicious.

We take a break this weekend before we get together AGAIN to head south to the Alfred, ME  Rug Hooking Retreat. We are so excited about the pilgrimage to this event. We have several hooking and stitching stores to visit as we make our way to the Retreat. Looking forward to what we will learn and all the talent we will encounter. I will be sure to get some snaps of the rug art. :)
The latest RHM issue arrived on Thursday; always inspiring....

Trying to keep in the groove of creativity. It has been a good outlet in dealing with so many changes going on around me right now.

I wanted to throw in a couple of snaps of me and my hubby on Halloween. We dressed up for a Trick or Treat tour at his work. They had a big turn out and we had a blast!!

Yesterday we scurried to finish up our fall chores...
before the snow flies TODAY!

I was able to make a couple Autumn roses for his aunt....
just in the nick of time.

Thank you for all of your thoughtful and sincere comments on my last post.

A cheery welcome to those who recently joined Porcupine Needle. Thanks for hanging out or on with me. And as I was finally getting around to adding the pictures to this post I see it is my 200th post. WOW! Have I really posted 200 ramblings of my stitching and life. Well, nobody has ever said I couldn't talk much. Hehehe.

Keep on stitching and hooking.
P.J.

What fun you've been having. Have a wonderful time at the hooking retreat and take lots of pics to share.
Those roses are too cool. I've never seen those before.
I will be generous and let you keep the snow.
Fun costumes.
Hugs :)

I just read your last post. I'm so sorry for your loss. I always get a little depressed at the frost snow. So far it hasn't arrived here, just threatening to come. I need it to wait 2 weeks until I get my winter tires on.
Try and get to Camp Wool in Kennebunkport - great spot

Love the leave flowers; do you have to moisten them first to get them to curl without snapping? Costumes were great and the stitchery is awesome!

OMG, I could go for some of that delicious looking stir fry for dinner tonight. Excited to see pictures from your next big adventure.

Those Halloween costumes are over the top!

Time with stitch GF's is just the best!

Snow--normally I would say not so much for TN however. . . Mt LeConte got 22" on Friday!
